How Do the Sheer White Strips Work?
Apply the active surface to the teeth. Position the top of the strip where the teeth and gums meet.
Make sure all visible tooth surfaces are covered by the strip.
1- Remove the strip from the tray. Remove the release liner from the strip. The active gel is the side that was touching the release liner.
2- Center film and place againstteeth at gum line.
3- Fold film to back side of teeth. Press firmly on all surfaces. This ensures proper placement for a secure no-slip fit.
4- Wear 1–2 Hours. Removal prior to one hour may result in films coming off in pieces. Rinse with warm water before removal.
5- To remove, grasp one corner and pull down away from front of teeth, then push film away from back of teeth.
6- Brush or rinse away any remaining gel. Rinse to sink.

These can be combined with our take-home strips that use carbamide peroxide to offer longer whitening time with limited sensitivity and long lasting results.
- How often do I need to whiten?
For best results, use Sheer White! Take-Home in conjunction with Sheer White! In-Office. Periodic touch-ups may be needed depending on patient, such as; diet, medication, and lifestyle. We recommend waiting 7-10 days after initial 5-day treatment, before deciding if there is need to whiten further. Touch-ups may consist of two to five days of treatment depending on patient.
- Will Sheer White! strips cause sensitivity?
Sheer White! strips utilize patented Sheer Film technology to securely hold the whitening agent against the teeth instead of traveling onto tissue and sensitive nerve endings. Our Take-Home strips with carbamide peroxide offer a slow-release, minimizing the possibility of sensitivity. Our In-Office strips with hydrogen peroxide are formulated to reduce any potential for sensitivity while creating quick whitening results.
